Hello
My name is Kaitlyn Fisher, and I am currently a student at the University of Tennessee, where I am majoring in Psychology with a minor in Interpersonal Development. I plan to specialize in working with sports and athletes. As I embark on my journey in the counseling field, I am honored to volunteer and shadow with Myndset Therapeutics. Their passion, care, and expertise in therapeutic relationships provide the ideal model for my future career aspirations.

My Story
From a young age, mental health and self-care have been paramount in my life. As an elite-level all-star cheerleader, I witnessed firsthand the mental blocks, frustrations, fears, and hesitation that affected my teammates, even with skills they had already mastered. This experience spurred me to become a leader and motivator, ultimately guiding me toward the field of mental health.
I am passionate about building meaningful relationships with individuals to help them navigate their journey towards achieving their life goals and dreams. My aspiration is to support others in confronting and overcoming obstacles, enabling them to reach their full potential. This internship is an important step in my journey, providing me with invaluable experience and motivation to pursue my professional dreams.
I am eager to learn and observe the profound impact of therapy on individuals' lives. It is an honor to be mentored by Tim and Darren Aiello, and I am committed to understanding how my academic studies translate into effective therapeutic relationships. I approach this opportunity with curiosity, passion, empathy, and authenticity.
